The SAAM Day of 28 October 2026 takes place at Bluefactory in Fribourg, hosted by LOXO and co-organised with VNL Schweiz (Verein Netzwerk Logistik). Its main topic is automated logistics: business models, operations and deployments. The programme runs from 9:30 to 15:30, with a welcome coffee from 9:00 and a networking apéro from 15:30.

Confirmed showcases
- LOXO develops driverless vehicles for last-mile delivery in Switzerland. Its projects include the Migronomous pilot and an autonomous delivery project with Planzer.
- Zelos (Zelostech) is a SAAM member. The SAAM study tour report from China lists Zelos among the two main operators of urban autonomous logistics vehicles in China.
- Neolix has since been confirmed as a third showcase. The company reports 21,000 autonomous delivery vehicles in service across more than 300 cities and 15 countries, and 170 million autonomous kilometres driven.
At the Automated Mobility Summit 2026, some speakers identified freight and port operations, alongside government-contracted mobility, as potential near-term avenues for automated vehicles in Europe.
Who can attend
A SAAM Day is a meetup of the Swiss Association for Autonomous Mobility (SAAM) where members explore one focused aspect of automated vehicles together. This edition is also open to companies, operators and authorities working on automated logistics. Places are limited; registration is through the sign-up button on this page.
